Great Harbors sets itself apart from all other local clubs and associations as it provides young residents with the opportunity to learn lifeguarding skills prior to participating in a registered lifeguard course. Swimmers are able to practice and learn CPR skills, life-saving techniques, and backboarding steps from our own certified guards. This early introduction allows swimmers and future lifeguards to be more prepared when the time comes to participate in a certification course.

Requirements
- Swimmers must pass the Great Harbors swimming lesson level six
-
Swimmers must be able to swim all four basic strokes (Back crawl, Front crawl, Breaststroke, and Backstroke)
